These are decent hangers but keep in mind that the weight limit of 50 lbs. is for 2 hangers, not one. I know this because I put a 72 lb kayak on 2 hangers and they bent open. Sure wish someone would make the hangers out of heavy guage steel, so it would handle 100+ lbs.

Works great, easy to put up, holds my kayaks, they were very easy to install, though I used my own wood screws to secure them to the studs in my garage, I thought that the screws I used would be better for the stud and they have a star pattern rather than a standard Phillips head I was worried about stripping and prefer the star. I used a stud finder then measured down from the ceiling to make sure they were level. if you are looking to hang a kayak you could not go wrong with these. I liked the price an loved how it came with two sets as I needed to hang two kayaks, I would say if you are looking at this item just go for it.

I’ve had this for about a month and so far the racks are amazing. Nice and sturdy, fit the kayak perfectly, and you don’t have to be worried about the kayaks falling off (unless of course you have kids that like to snoop through anything or dogs that are nosy). Overall great so far.

This is a must have if you got a kayak.. it does save space and get your place tidy and usable..One problem though, the bolts that come with it are too small and cannot take on the load of the kayak.. my kayak specs are the same as described in this product (referring to weight) but after installation of the bars and putting the kayak on it, it fell down after a couple of minutes.. I did not install it myself since I do not have the required tools.. I brought a paid skilled person.. the guy right away pointed that the bolts are not adequate to take the load before he installed the bars.. I said let's give it a try.. but it failed.. fortunately the guy had some better concrete bolts and put it on.. it finally worked!so if you buy this product, I advise you to get prepared buying concrete bolts and maybe look for a service person. You won't regret it.. it is a good product..
