This is a nice nest if you have a small animal but not for anything around a squirrel size.What I did not like about this is that once attached the nest can slide off the front eventually if anything pulls or pushes on it. There should have been a washer or something glued on the front to keep it on permanently. I am sure it was designed this way so you could wash it but you could always take it off the back way in that case.The material is soft and supportive and it did not rip or anything.Overall, this is okay for smaller animals but you might want to put a dab of hot glue to secure it to the wood dowels.

It's small, but it's a good size for a sugar glider or a flying squirrel or even a little hamster. It would work for a bird too, but it would have to be a small bird. The material is soft and it's very easy to put together and install. Over all, I am happy with it.
