About this item

  • GREAT FOR ENGINE NOISE DAMPENING - The Wiring Harness Tape is specially designed for automotive use, wrapping up wires and wire bundles. It minimizes the dreaded noise rattles, reduces coil whining and dampens noises coming from under the hood. Don’t use PVC tape that melts or become goo, use these heat wire tape instead!
  • CLOTH ELECTRICAL TAPE - Our wire loom tape is cloth fabric. Compared to the standard vinyl tape which turns into a sticky mess under heat, this heat shrink tape provides more protection to wiring and looms, is less vulnerable to heat damage and harnesses electrical wires better!
  • HEAT RESISTANT - ECOHomes heat shield wire loom tape works well between -60F to 302F, just what you need for organizing high temp electrical wires under the hood, or for any high temp environments where plastic tape would curl, melt and fail. Also works excellently for your car’s audio video wires, radio speakers, subwoofers, car connectors and more!
  • EASY TO USE, STRONG ADHESION - Simply wrap the flexible cloth tape around your electrical wires. Easy to tear off with your hands. Secure your automotive’s exposed electrical and motor wires easily and securely. Great for electrical works and doesn’t leave a residue.
  • MULTIPURPOSE, AVAILABLE IN MULTI PACKS - These wire loom tapes work great for cables, wire gauges and other wires too. Use them to organize cables or just about any electronics or home appliance with professional looking results. Comes in packs of 2, 3 & 5 rolls, in the standard 3/4 inch wide or 2 inches wide tape for wrapping large runs of loom quickly and affordably!

Great tape uses a ton of it and gave some rolls to my friends. Used to repair a wiring harness and used to clean up wires in the engine bay of my truck. Great value 1 roll goes a really long way.

This stuff is sticky and easy to work with unlike others I have bought. Time will tell how long it lasts.

It wont hold all that well if any chemicals get into it, or really high heat saturate it for a long time, so I dont think it serves right under the hood of an old car. However, it has been quite useful inside vehicles which I have needed to repair a rubber window guide molding. This material is excellent for enabling the sliding window glass to glide smoothly. Often, the tiny flocking fibers get worn away from the rubber seals which surround your side window glass...and this leads to an ugly situation over time. Once those fibers are gone, you would typically have a jammed-up or extremely slow-moving window. Just be sure to CLEAN the rubber moulding with hot water and soap first, and then apply this material directly where the flocking/felt fibers used to be. You may find that your own 32 year old antique car window suddenly moves like it was still brand new!
