Holy crap is this stuff tough. I needed a black metal screen for preventing insect intrusion. My intent was to form it into a cup shape and attach it with screws behind an inspection hole. This is NOT a flimsy piece of screen and a fair amount of force was used to shape it into a form. The screen did not tear or fall apart after being subjected to repeated blows with the forming tool. Good stuff.

I used thus for a few things, but not for windows. My son and I used it to see if we could build a Faraday box for our phones. That was fun. I used it to teach an Autistic kid to sew, which worked because the screen has holes and the kid could actually see how sewing works. I used it to make a cement wall in a play house, that actually worked because the cement stays in the screen, and because its thin, it dries fast so you can get the next cement layer on it the same day. Made a great half wall. I imagine you can do a lot more with this screen. I love the stuff. Best part is, its affordable. My son used it to do as I did with the half wall but he used mud for a flower bed on a hill his wife wanted, and it worked. That was in june, its now November and all these projects still stand, and we're in NY where it's typically wet 10 months a year

I don't like that it doesn't stick on well, it wasn't worth the money

Tiny mesh, coated, and malleable, retaining the shape one puts it in, is a great liner for succulent plantings within fenestrated planters. For anyone who loves cactus and other succulents, an important aspect of plant care is to ensure rapid soil water vapor evaporation so that roots don't rot. A good was to do this is to use a planter that has large holes in its side. However the granular soil will easily fall out. Using this mesh prevents that from happening.
