Fits great and works exactly as advertised. If you let this dangle in a downward facing position it will fill with water, hold the water, ruin your plug and prove yourself to be an idiot. You have to use this with a tongue jack bracket or some other apparatus that holds it in an upright position when capped and not in use. If you have sense enough to understand this then disregard the negative reviews. I especially like that this one clips back to the cable while in use rather than flopping around while in transit. Also, the ring that goes over the cord end is stiff! Use a screwdriver or something to help stretch it over the cord end. It will go! I think I saw some reviews that said they had to disassemble the cord end and remove it in order to install the cap. Wrong. You just didn't try hard enough. It won't break. Make sure it isn't extremely cold and stretch that sucker. It will go. Then you have a good fit that won't come off.

It is a five star value, I did not remove the plug to install the retainer ring. I choose to tie wrap to secure it to the cable. It is the only area for improvement. The material is playable and feels like it will last and it goes on easily and is snug. Buy one it is a good value.

Ended up having my trailer plug connecter get a little bit corroded from always being in the weather or what not. Checked connection before I left and 70mph on the freeway later my truck warned me it lost connection to the trailer. Even though I have an F350 my trailer weights 8,600lbs. Let's just say trailer brakes help out alot. I have since added connecter grease and got this cap to keep it clean and out of the weather. So far so good. Just make sure you warm this puppy up before you try putting the strap on. And make sure the connector isn't hanging facing down or this cap will fill full of water.

There's not really much to say about the cover itself. It fits over the wiring harness exactly like it should, and seems to provide a reasonable amount of weatherproofing. My only complaint is that the retaining loop was difficult to get over the harness. This is good for retention but aggravating for installation. Another retention strategy might be better.

Brought 3 for my camper and other trailers. Fit snug . Great value for the money and protection for the electric plug. Great value for protection against water in the plug.5☆☆☆☆☆.

I like it. Easy to install of course. Just make sure to use the top to attach it facing up onto your electrical cable. Otherwise, I can see condensation seeping in over time.

I purchased this to cover the 7-way plug on my camper. While it covers the plug, I have still not been able to get the loop to go over the plug so it hangs on the cord. There just is not enough elasticity to the rubber to make it work. Or, maybe there is, but is does not feel like I can stretch it that far without breaking it. Still, I use it and just throw it in the truck while I a traveling.

I installed this when I installed a new trailer cable connector. Easy to use. Fits snuggly in place. It is an easy way to protect the trailer connector from dirt and debris and the elements.

This item arrived yesterday and I took it to my trailer this morning. The loop needed to be heated in hot water to make it pliable enough to slip over the 7 pin connector on my trailer. The loop and it’s connector to the cup could be thicker. I expect it won’t last long. The cup fits snuggly over the connector so it should be water and dust proof. The clip on the back of the cup also fits nicely over the cable to secure it when the connector is plugged into my truck. My overall impression is the item will do the job at least in the short term but it is probably overpriced by at least 1/3.
