How to Use Wisesorb Indicating Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals
1. Add a layer of Crystals

2. Trim and Arrange the Flowers

3. Cover the Flowers with Crystals

5. Remove the Flowers

Instructions for Reactivation

- Check the beads, and when they return to orange, the reactivation is done.

This really is a great product. The value for the money is better than other ones that I’ve tried because you get a bigger bag for a better price. I love the functionality of it as it dries my flowers anywhere from 3 to 5 days and then I was able to put it in the oven and bake it to get it reactivated. It did not change color too much which was something I was confused about so I’m not sure if it needed to be baked but better safe than sorry.

I do recommend putting newspaper down to crash and crystal la that spill out while removing the flower. But the product itself works well.

I’ve been using this in a plastic bin for about two months to make toss petals for my wedding. They turn out flat and beautiful every batch. Each batch only takes about 24-30 hours. I place a thin layer at the bottom and scatter a generous amount of garden rose petals cover and repeat until I’m out of petals. I use my fingers to rake and shake them free of the granular stuff when done and place in a card board box. So far I’ve done this 7 times and have ten times more petals and much more beautiful than the ones sold on any website (fully flat and not crispy). You can use with eucalyptus as well. They smell beautiful too!!!

This silica is very fine, like sand. I have purchased other that are beads and I like it better. This works but it’s more of a mess and it gets everywhere.

The downside of working with silica is the dust particles that can be a health problem if you don’t wear a mask.This brand by far has the least amount of air borne partial while using that I have usedWorks so well and the results are amazingMake sure to buy enough for your projects. I can do 18-24 dose heads in a shoebox size container with one container

This stuff is great, I put it in teabags to help keep my 3D printing filament dry. I like the color changing particles to show when the silica needs to be dried out again. The flower drying stuff is by far the best value I’ve found for bulk silica gel. I wish it came in bigger granules but I realize that I’m not using it for its intended purpose so I understand why it doesn’t.

It’s my first time preserving a flower through Silica Gel so i bought this because it’s change color if the flowers are fully dried in about a week but with my experience that didn’t happen at all it’s been 13 days since i preserve my flowers I check on it the color of the gel it didn’t change to green at all so I check the flowers, its already dried and almost crispy driedIt’s keep its shape and the color of the flower is almost the same but I’m not really sure if this is good because it my first time
