Just 3 steps install:
1.Locate and mark the position for installation.
2.Use the driller and drill the holes on the wall with a level according to the size of the expansion anchors.
3.Use a hammer to knock the plastic bolts into the hole, Drill the screws and Kayak hook into the plastic bolts
Maximum load capacity up to 120 lbs.
The size of our large garage storage hooks is 15'' by 11.8'' and it Holds up to 120 lbs. The diameter of the tube is 0.96". There are 8 pieces screws and 8 pieces plastic anchors inside, and the size is 2.4" and 1.6" long

Im impressed with those hooks. They are easy to install, sturdy and wide enough to hold my Hobie Mirage kayak. We had them up for a while now and no issues.I plan to use the rest of them to hold bikes and ladders in the garage.

These were easy enough to install,I installed them on my garage siding (made of cedar wood). I did try to find studs first and installed into those as well,though maybe my wood siding would have been sturdy enough. Not really sure. It would have been nice if there were more instructions that came with these, because the set came with drywall anchors and screws (I found the screws to work just fine, unlike some other reviews),but there were no instructions as to the size of drillbit to use or how to hang in wood or anything other than drywall. I know that is fairly simple to figure out but I've never hung something like this that is intended to hold so much weight (and also get knocked around a bit).Using studs to insert worked well because I wasn't sure how far apart to put the hooks,but I don't know that it matters a ton, so using my stud spacingWorked out well. I ended up putting them 69" apart and utilized a 5/32" (4.2mm) drill bit to go directly into the wood. I definitely could have used a bigger bit but I was a little terrified of going too big and having to redrill elsewhere. The space between the hooks fit perfect though, and worked for both my 12' fishing Kayak and my 10' sit in Kayak.While I think they're gonna stay put just fine and they're definitely doing their job, from the first time I put up a Kayak the foam over the hooks got messed up/cut so I don't think that will last long.

I wasn't sure what to expect out of these but pleasantly surprised. I mounted them on our brick garage wall and they went up quick and easy (mortar bit needed). Kayaks stored on these weigh from 40 to 77 lbs. Seem sturdy , time will tell.

Worked well... easy to hang. I wish they were a little deeper.
