This hat is light weight and comfortable. The chin strap is helpful when there is a breeze. I love the ability to adjust how high or low the hat sits on my head by tightening or loosening the velcro bow in the back. This hat works great for when I put my hair up in a bun or ponytail. It provides good sun protection all the way around the hat. The loose weave makes it more breathable than a lot of other caps and hats. It is also easy to roll up and put away in a drawer. Overall really nice product.

I ordered the 2 hats option which was only a fraction more than the cost of 1 hat. Even at the price of both hats, they are still less than the cost of one of the name brand hat. Quality is the same as the name brand. The brims are wide so great sun protection. Best of all, I love that they are packable.

The best hat for sun protection is the one you'll actually wear. I have other hats, some much more expensive and made for "airflow", but I roast in them and end up taking them off.With this, although it may not be perfect protection, I happily wear this consistently because the opening at the top let's heat vent sooooooo much better making it way more comfortable.Plus its nice looking (love the wide brim and bow) and works for an array of activities including polo matches, beach time, walking, running errands, and even on safari.The removable cord is nice and most of the time I just leave it on to sit behind my head, but it's very handy when it gets super windy like it does when living right on the water.And it's so easy to roll up and stow away in my purse or luggage when not in use.Between sunscreen, sunglasses, this hat, upf clothing, and chair umbrellas/parisols, I feel pretty well protected!

Bought this for my MIL who had skin cancer. She loves it. She can roll it up and put it in her purse or pocket and the when she needs it she just unrolls and uses. Also light weight and big brim so she’s covered. She hates wearing a lot of sunscreen so this works perfectly for her.

I have a slightly smaller head. I didn’t anticipate that it would be an issue since this hat was adjustable. However, when I put the hat on and adjusted it to fit, I found that the back part of the hat would hit the base of my neck or the back of my shoulders if I turned from side to side or looked up. Maybe it is just that the brim had to much downward curvature, but whatever it was, it made the hat not very practical. In order for that contact not to happen I had to wear it really high up on my head and it looked funny. The quality of the material is nice and it seems well constructed. Just didn’t work for me.

Received the hats very quickly. A little bit big so I might want to have used the detachable wind rope to avoid the hat blowing off, but the rope is missing from both hats in the package. Otherwise the quality seems good. I like the way they roll up for storage.
