I love this hat. When I walk the sun can be blinding, instead of looking at the beauty surrounding me I end up looking at my feet. I must look so depressed to people.I put this on and the sun's out of my eyes, I love that the top is open because I get the breeze. I don't like wearing a hat, so, once the sun is out of my eyes, I take this off, roll it up and just enjoy my walk.It'd be a great hat for travel.The only negative is that the weave is loose so the sun light does get through, it also means this won't be a durable hat, but for the price I wasn't expecting it to be high quality.

It's quasi-disposable, like everything is now, but at least it's cheap. I like the color; it's funky and matches nothing, therefore everything. It's not for big heads, so it fits kinda wonky and the Velcro shows, but it helps me make sure I have a hat with decent coverage all the time and that's not nothing.

I live in the South, so sun protection and humidity is a full time concern. I also have long thick hair, so caps and hats were tight and made me hotter. The straw is cooler than cloth caps or visors. Brim gives full round protection which also helps cool. I simply put my hair in a bun or ponytail and the hat fits nicely around it. The hat is also stylish and light. You control the fit with the cute bow Velcro fastener. Holds up well to a pool splash.

I recently purchased this sun hat for my trip to Cancun, where the weather is very hot. Here’s my experience with the product:Versatile Design:One of the features I liked the most was the versatility of the hat. It has an open top design that allows you to wear your hair in a ponytail while still providing shade coverage with an adjustable band but not enough for my head .This was perfect for keeping cool and comfortable under the hot sun.Comfort Issues:Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with the hat’s comfort. I felt something sticking into my head and realized that the hat had staples in it. It seems that the person who made the hat didn’t remove all the staples, which made it uncomfortable to wear.Fit Problems:The fit of the hat was also problematic. The sides kept riding up, and it didn’t stay on my head properly. This might be due to the size of my head or because I had braids in my hair, but it made the hat difficult to wear comfortably.Quality and Aesthetics:The material of the hat was great, and I loved the color. It’s a stylish hat and reasonably priced, which initially attracted me to it.Final Thoughts:While the hat has a lot of potential, the issues with the staples and fit made it less than ideal for me. If the manufacturer could ensure that all staples are removed and perhaps offer more size options, it would be a much better product. For those with smaller heads, it might work perfectly. However, due to the discomfort and fit issues, I had to return the hat.In summary, it’s a good hat with a versatile design, but be cautious about potential quality control issues and sizing. If you have a smaller head or don’t mind checking for staples, it could still be a great purchase.

I have a hat that looks almost exactly like this one.And it is already worn out so I was happy to find another one that kind of looked like it. It's a pretty hat, and I like that you can wear your hair up and not be so hot in the summer 😜
