Though I love swimming in the ocean, for some beach days it’s easier or more practical to just do a little wading. I’ve often ended up getting my pants wet while doing it since there’s always a strat wave that comes up a little higher than expected, or a pant leg will unroll as I’m moving. I thought it would be useful to have these trunks on hand instead, so I can change into them on the days I don’t plan to go swimming, and keep my pants from getting all brined.I like the color of these a lot; I chose the sky blue option and it matches up well to the color depicted here. I chose the XXL since it’s my usual size and it fits well around the waist. I’ll note that I’m a little short (5’4”) and they go more midcalf on me rather than stopping at the knee as shown on the page. The leg is a little wider than I figured it would be which I think would make it annoying to swim in them, but since I’m planning to use them primarily for wading that shouldn’t be a big problem.The stitching is good, and the fabric feels like it is of good quality. I liked seeing that there’s plenty of pocket space available. There are two deep pockets on each side, with a top pocket that is open at the top and a lower pocket that can be zipped shut. They have a rather narrow opening but are pretty deep, and should offer some help when my daughter comes running to me with the occasional rock or shell that she’d like to save. My iPhone 14 Pro can fit with a little extra vertical space in the zipped pocket, and peeks out a little from the open pocket at the top.I had the chance to try them out during an impromptu beach day; the water is very cold right now since it’s wintertime but the weather was pleasant enough for us to splash around in the shallows. They felt very comfortable. There is a white “underwear” insert sewn into them. It seemed odd at first but I found the insert was quite comfortable, both while wearing my own underwear and splashing around in the waves without any additional undergarments. I didn’t have any issues with the insert bunching or riding up, and I imagine they helped keep me decent when I got hit by an unusually high wave. The out fabric feels thick and it seemed to be effective in the way it absorbed water; I never felt like I was soaked or that the pant legs were clinging to me, and they didn’t get weighed down while wet either.Overall I’m happy with them, since I don’t always want to be showing too much skin while I’m at the beach but these will ensure I can still enjoy myself while I’m there. They feel comfortable to wear and look nice enough that I’d be comfortable wandering around boardwalks or other local attractions as well.

My daughter is in love with these short, they are very cute on her as well and I'm soo happy to not have to see her trying to hold up board shorts anymore on her petite frame!The shorts fit perfectly with what the size chart stated and they are soft and light weight even when soaked by the ocean waves we didn't have any issues by the time we got back to the car as they dried pretty quick which is always a huge bonus. The quality is awesom as there were no loose strings and all my daughters items she kept in her pockets came back with her even after going waist deep in the waves. Looking forward to getting my younger one a pair now as she has already tried to steal theese so definitley purchasing more maybe even a pair for myself.

I bought one pair of these for an upcoming cruise/water activity day. I like my shorts longer. I loved them so much I am back for another pair. I wear a size 12 jean and bought the XL in these. They fit amazing. Not tight. Maybe a size L would have fit but I wanted them on the looser side in the leg. The waist is form fitting and looks really nice. Lots of zippered pockets. A great travel pant.

I am very excited to use these. The small fit me perfectly (I am typically a small and sometimes a medium). The fabric is soft and the fit was as expected from the photos. I was surprised to find a traditional underwear style insert so it had the feel of a traditional bathing suit even though it pretends to have the freedom of shorts. At first, I was bitter about this but then i came to realize the if I want to lay on a deck chair and prop my foot up bent at the knee, I am going to be really grateful that anyone looking up the leg hole of the pants cannot see my hoohah. So now I am pleased that they thought of that bc I would not have realized until it was too late.Fabric feels exactly like parachute pants; if you wore those in the 90's you know what I mean. Length is as depicted in the photos but it ends up a bit odd-not quite long and not quite short. Not thigh length or mid calf or ankle but instead about 2 inches below mid-knee. Odd. But not enough to stop me from wearing them!

I've been searching for something like this for ages and finally found the perfect beach pants! They're amazing! They're super comfortable, fit great, and are so flattering. The length is perfect (below the knee, like capris), and I love that they're fitted around the waist but loose in the legs. They don't cling at all, which is exactly what I wanted.And the best part? They have a built-in swim liner that's actually comfortable, so you could totally swim in them! This way, I can walk around without feeling self-conscious, but I can also get splashed by waves or even take a quick dip without worrying about soggy pants all day. They're also not see-through at all, which is a huge plus!I've never seen anything like these in stores before - just long board shorts or those thin, see-through cover-up pants. These are a total game-changer! I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about them. I'm already planning on buying another pair in blue as soon as spring rolls around.
