I have bought at least 8 pairs of these pants for water aerobics. I wear a size 12 and order size XL. They last about 4 months with constant use in chlorinated water. All nylon pants dissolve in chlorinated water but these hold up well and are inexpensive to replace. Beautiful colors, high waist. Fits snug, stays up but doesn’t strangle you. I swim in these year round for sun protection and warmth, indoors and outdoors. Never too hot unless I’m laying in the sun. The dark colors might be too hot for activities out of the water in summer sunshine.

I'm 5'9" but these are long enough for my legs & do come up to my waist. They're thicker than yoga or exercise leggings, which is perfect because I wanted something to use instead of a one-piece dive skin for tubing in a 70 degree river. I don't like tight clothes, so I ordered 1 size up for comfort & they're perfect.

I own SEVERAL previous pairs of FitsT4 riding breeches and swimming/rashguard leggings and they have all been excellent quality, super comfy, and the swim fabric does its job and blocks the sun entirely no matter how long I'm out on the water kayaking (with the sun baking my seated/horizontal legs). The past fit has always been perfect, consistent even when purchased years apart, and very flattering. Five stars for sure.So, understandably, when I went to splurge on a couple more colors of the swim leggings for the summer high use season, I went straight back to that specific pair and size. Unfortunately, it turned out FitsT4 sizes have shrunk! I'm not talking a little stack-cutting variation, but a solid 2+ inches that's exactly the same in both new colors (navy & black in photos)! What is even crazier and incredibly frustrating is that THEN I went back and ordered the next size up, and BOTH SIZES ARE IDENTICAL. The first review photo shows the new XL (navy), new XXL (also navy- hard to see because it's the same size), and old XL (silver) stacked evenly on the left side so you can see the difference (or lack thereof) on the right.I also don't believe I just happened to get *two* mislabeled pairs as the XXL are both significantly longer than the XL. I worry that they changed factories to one that doesn't handle "American" (large) sizes well. Larger buyers beware (& maybe size up)! & FitsT4, please review your manufacturing/sizing and you'll be back to a super awesome product!

I started swimming laps in an outdoor pool and needed to find sun protection that didn't mean globs of sunscreen. I didn't even know swim pants were a thing, but I found some online that were $70-$100. I was unwilling to spend that kind of money before I knew if that was something I could swim in. I have been using these pants for over a month and am converted. I now swim in these pants, a longsleeve rash guard and swim bra (no swimsuit). The pants look and feel good, and seem to be standing up to the chlorine so far. They seem a great value, especially when compared to the cost of a good endurance suit. They are comfortable enough to wear riding a bike to/from the pool. They look like yoga pants but are much thinner, which is probably part of why they are so comfortable. I am 5'4", 175# and the large fit well. Although the waist has s thin band that is a little snug, it stays put while swimming. Anything larger would likely have a tendency to slide down during vigorous workouts.

I normally wear a medium to large but after reading the reviews I ordered an extra large. These pants arrived as an extra large bit would fit an extra small. Very tiny. I returned them and unfortunately had to pay shipping as I don't live near a UPS return store. Cannot recommend these.

I need to build out my UV blocking wardrobe, as I’ve developed an “allergy†to it, so these were meant as more of a wardrobe item than just for occasional recreation.I’m returning them.It’s been years since I’ve bought any type of legging that wasn’t “taglessâ€. Even with a tag, I’d usually just cut it out. These?, the tag is in the absolute WORST place (well, maybe not THE worst). It’s placed in the middle of the seam that runs across the upper buttock so the tag pokes you in the base of the tailbone (and lower) - the tag isn’t the silky type material either, it’s the stiff paper-ey type tag that, even when cut off, leaves behind a “strip†that’s stuck under the stitching, and is even MORE irritating than the tag was. Not to mention that once you cut the tag, the item isn’t returnable if it doesn’t “fix†the problem.The tag issue aside? The size chart was spot on accurate, so the fit was great - snug without feeling constricting. The length was good - enough to cover your ankle bones without pooling at the top of your feet. The 2nd pocket at the back of the waistband was a nice plus. The material was nice and silky - thin without actually seeming flimsy or delicate. I bought the “greyish green†color, which was nice, but not as nice as it appeared on screen - still nice though.It’s really too bad about the tag - if it wasn’t for that?, I would have loved them and bought several more in different colors.

These leggins are perfect for ocean or lake swimming. I particularly like the length and compression around the ankles as this is where sand in the water can infiltrate into your leggins. The length is long enough to reach the ankle so swim shoes can cover exposed skin for protection. The waistband is ok, but a double layer of fabric there would be a great plus. The overall look of the leggins is medium to high shine so they would look just great in the gym or the beach. I am a guy and always have found better athletic garments selection in the womans selection having lower prices, better fit. I use these for workouts and the compression enhances the leg muscles and gives an added zip to the workout. I would rate these as Unisex and not just womans attire.

Questi leggings sono perfetti per praticare sport acquatici in estate. Leggeri e facili da indossare anche se bagnati o se vi siete appena messi la crema solare. Non stringono ma vestono belli aderenti.Proteggono bene da abrasioni per sfregamento sulle tavole e anche dai raggi UV.NON sono sostitutivi della muta in quanto non tengono caldo; svolgono solamente una funzione protettiva.Li ho usati tantissimo, ne acquisterò sicuro un altro paio per la prossima stagione.PRODOTTO CONSIGLIATO!

I have been through so many other swim leggings that are either too big or do not stay on when in water. These are amazing tight snug high waist exactly what I was looking for. I will be ordering again!
