The bottom acrylic board provides enough support for your bird, while easily sliding out for cleaning.
Washable & Easy to clean
Our bird beds can be washed by hand or machine. Please remove the hooks and acrylic board before washing.
For longer service life, please don't frequent washing. (We recommend placing in a laundry bag for washing on a gentle cycle)

I bought this bed because my bird spends time both indoors and outdoors (different cages, the outdoor one is a large flight cage) and I wanted her to have somewhere warm to go during winter. I do not let her have the bed during the day as I do not want to encourage hormonal/nesting behavior—this can make birds more prone to behavioral issues like biting or regurgitating etc. But it is a good bed for her to cuddle up in at night.HOWEVER. If you have a chewer, please note this is not chew-resistant fabric. Soft and cozy, yes; chew resistant, no. My bird had already managed to chew a small hole in it within a few days. You will need to supervise closely to ensure the bed stays safe and that your bird isn’t ingesting (or getting tangled in!) the threads or stuffing.

Okay, yeah these were a little costly but this is quality!! They are machine washable, air dry, they have hidden snaps so the birds don't destroy the hut, they are soft and have a little flat plastic insert on the bottom to provide stability for the base/flooring of the hut. The only thing I wish is that the huts came with small link metal chains. Birds are destructive little critters (at least my love birds are) and they love to pick and mouth everything. I went to Home Depot and purchase small link chains and attached them to the already in place elastic ends and now I have different levels of bird huts in their cage. These are quality huts, that have lasted 4-5 washings and still maintain their shapes and usage. Thank you and buy with confidence that your small bird(s) will appreciate the warm they find inside these little huts.

Perfectly sized for one to two parakeets. My parakeet is a little afraid of it, but it is brand new. It is very sturdy and seems easy to clean, but like I said, my parakeet is afraid of it for now. I purchased this because it can get a little chilly, I have to sleep with a fan on, and I was worried about the air movement for the parakeet. The pattern is adorable, and I would buy this again.

This is one of the cutest bird huts I've seen, and I was so excited to get it set up for our parrot as we head into the colder months. I imagined its plush fabric and charming design would make it a cozy and inviting space; however, there is one noticeable downside—the hut doesn't stay upright and tends to bend to one side. While this may not deter some birds from enjoying their new hideaway, it can be aesthetically distracting and may even pose a minor inconvenience for your pet. Hanging it securely can be a challenge due to this imbalance, so additional adjustments or reinforcements might be necessary.Overall, the Wontee Bird Nest House is a cute and warm option for bird owners looking to provide their pets with a snug sanctuary. However, be prepared to deal with its tendency to lean, which may require some extra attention to ensure it hangs properly.

Very well made! Tequi my green cheek conure seems to really like it. She sleeps inside these beds, and this one is big enough for her tail. You can leave the back open, as well, so it's a sleep hammock, and she likes it that way too.

The seller should provide what is depicted on their website.The material is satisfactory quality, but the product itself differs from the picture and doesn't provide stud clips or a removeable tray for easy cleaning, as specified. Am disappointed that there is this discrepancy.
