Instructions
Loose The Screw
Please loose the screw and quit about 0.16in firstly,then insert the pen tips.Or you will think it is insert to the button but in fact it is blocked by the screw.
Insert The Wood Burning Kit Pen Tips
Insert the tips into the copper wire column for about 0.31in.Why is the pyrography pen not hot,fluctuated.
Tighten The Screws
Please tighten the screws,or the tips won't get hot.
Confirm Wood Burner
please confirm the screw is tightened and the tip is in the holder about 8mm like the picture as above.

Bought this to dabble in wood burning. The base unit seems well made. Having 2 tools with different tips ready to use is very convenient. Temperature control and read-out seems to work fine. Nice assortment of included tips.Very pleased so far and would buy again.

Our 12 year old is impossibly hard to shop for but this gift was a huge hit a Christmas. Yes it needs a bit of supervision or just common sense talk on safety because the tips can get red burning hot. The tips have bent a bit but I think that could be the fault of the young user 😉However one thing I’m not impressed with is when you check the price history of this item, the price is jacked up for November and December. I’m frustrated by buyers who do that so the items can go “on saleâ€.It does work really well though

After reading many reviews on many of these devices, I bought this one. It worked perfectly for what I was looking for. It was easy to figure out and easy to use. I tried multiple tips, and have used it several times. I appreciated the small pieces of sample woods it came with for me to practice on before working on a project. Like many other reviews, I will say the handle will get hot to the touch after several minutes of consistent use. I would just shut it off and wait about 5 minutes and then start again. It cools down rather quickly. It did make my work time longer due to needing to cool it down, but I didn't mind it much. May drive someone else crazy. I did notice the temperature fluctuations as I was working, but after reading more about them, I found that to be necessary and normal. It did not effect my work. I am an absolute beginner and think this is a good one to start with before investing in something much more expensive.

Prior to this burning tool, I had only ever used a cheap $20 tool that had its issues-- the tips would loosen as the metal heated, there was no stable stand or off switch, and it had one setting--ON.This tool is superior in every way. To start, it comes with a great variety of tips, and the way they fit in, you have 2 screws(screwdriver included) that hold them deep in the connector-- they're not going anywhere, very sturdy. Next, we have a stand to rest the tool in while it is cooling down that features a hole to run the cable through, making it a very nice and stable place to rest the tool. Finally, the heating unit has a fantastic range of temperature control easily adjusted with a dial and an on/off toggle switch so you don't need to unplug it every time you want to take a break.This is a great tool and I look forward to many art projects with it

Bought for my daughter who was originally using a soldering gun for burning images. She ABSOLUTELY LOVES this. Has different tips. Great quality and love all the accessories.

It does get warm near where I hold it after a little while, but nothing like similar tools I have used. I can finish small to medium-sized projects without letting it cool off. The last tool I used got so hot it burnt the cord near the pen-style holder. The last time I plugged it in, it sparked and shorted out the tool...not to be used again. This wood burner doesn't get near that hot, though the tip of it gets hotter and makes burning the wood much smoother and more controllable. I love it!
