These wood touch up pens are great at hiding flaws in laminated wood or actual pieces of wood. Here are my thoughts.Pros:- Not only is there a way to match the color to as close to what the original color is, it is possible to fill the dings and dents.- If there are no huge changes in temperature and humidity, the filled in wax should be quite stable in that it has not yet shrunk. Best to apply in winter when the air is dry.Cons:- Would have been good if it had a greater variety of colors, but this has been sufficient for the color of furniture in my house so far.Overall, other than the limited color range, this set of wax furniture touch up fillers has worked for me. I do recommend this set.

This is one of those things that no home should be without! It seems no matter how careful we are there is always something that is made of wood getting scratched in our home. These wax pens are the perfect solution! For light scratches you can just color in the scratch and wipe off the excess wax (or scrape off with a plastic putty knife.) For deeper divots or gouges you can actually melt some of the wax into the space and use a plastic putty knife to get the excess. We got the set of commonly used colors and pretty much every piece of wood in our house can be matched within the set!

So far, I've used two of the sticks in this set to touch up furniture. I used one on one of the cabinets in my pantry that had a scrape on the front, and another on the arm of my sofa that had a scratch. There are enough colors in the set, that there should be a fairly close match for just about anything made of wood. It was easy to apply, and seems to be holding up well. There are quite a few sticks in this set, and the price is reasonable, so I find them to be a great value. Recommended!
