Love, love, love this item!! It is absolutely beautiful and seems well made. The magnetic stand is very strong. I filled it with pastries over the holidays, sat it on my table and it was so sturdy with everyone getting in and out of it. It's so functional I cannot wait to use it other ways. The wood is gorgeous. I absolutely recommend this item.

UPDATE: Updating my review since the seller promptly responded and provided a replacement, which has resolved the issue.It’s held up well for the most part, but the glass randomly broke on the cover. It hasn’t been dropped and nothing has been dropped on it, nor has it been placed in the dishwasher. Disappointing that now I need to find a new cover that will fit exactly or I need to get a brand new stand all together.

It would be great if there were magnets to help attach the base to the plate part. Feels wobbly. Looks beautiful though!

Looks so classy and fun at the same time. The glass dome is a good quality and wood as well. Love how you can flip it over for a dip tray.

I bought this cute cake stand because I bake birthday cakes several times a year. I was happy with the way it looked, but the stand part (which doubles as a holder for dips) fell off almost immediately. I still used it without the stand and just set it down on the table, but this time I used a paper towel to cleaning frosting off the edges of the glass dome and it SHATTERED in my hand. I was applying pressure, but not enough for that to happen. I ended up with 5 stitches in my forearm. I will never buy something with that much glass on the cheap again. Terrible idea.

My biggest concern was the glass breaking in transit but it looks perfect. I will try to add a photo to my review later after Christmas but for now I will say It’s worth it! The cheaper ones lids are made of plastic and that simply won’t do if you intend to display this in your kitchen. It’s a great price for such a neat idea. Would recommend

The glass dome has air bubbles, a “dentâ€, scrape, and the bottom edge has warbles and is not completely smooth/flat. For the price the item is, I am extremely disappointed.
