This chin rest didn't match the description at all. The wood is softer than it appears in the photo and it was too large to be for a 1/8 size violin. The hardware is cheap and didn't fit properly in the predrilled holes. Save your money and pass on this one.

This is a full-size chinrest, not at all an 1/8 size as described: as such, it is unusable on a small instrument.
