I like this rack. I bought it mainly to serve as a foldaway coffee table with a tray on top. But It will also be great for visitors, for packing for our own trips, or for holding bedding temporarily (like when changing sheets).The curved legs add a touch of class. The wood is a nice dark color that goes well with my mahogany furniture, and you can see the grain, which is always a plus. It's not the smoothest wood, but it's fit for purpose. I polished it with Method "Wood for Good" Polish and it enhanced the finish and also made it a bit smoother. There are four black polypropylene webbing straps, each held by five staples.Mine measures exactly 23-5/8" wide x 14-7/8" deep x 20" high. Folded, it will fit into a 4" wide space.MADE IN THE USA. I like to support US manufacturing. I checked Wooden Mallet's website and I was impressed when I read that they "only use Northern Red Oak and other wood products that are grown in sustained forests in the United States and Canada." I'm happy with this item and happy to give them my business.

After reading reviews of several different luggage racks on Amazon, I thought that whatever I bought would turn out to be flimsy and unusable. This one did not have any negative comments, so I ordered it for the guest room.This rack is well-made. I like the fact that it is real wood and not metal, and it looks very nice. I suppose that it is a bit on the slight side, and might bend under the weight of a steamer trunk, but for the typical large suitcase it is more than adequate.I was surprised that it was smaller than I expected. The dimensions are given, so any misapprehension here is really my fault. But it isn't a problem, as the rack is still big enough for our purposes. However, you might want to consider this carefully before you order.

I am a frequent business traveller and was looking for a rack to support my all too regular packing and unpacking exercises in the bedroom. The wife had started enforcing a rule (and rightfully so) that I could no longer put my luggage with questionable exterior cleanliness on our bed. Hence, a luggage rack became an essential requirement unless I wanted to be working with the luggage on the floor. The Wooden Mallet LR2, while slightly smaller than the standard size rack you would find in a hotel room, is both functional and attractive (almost furniture quality). Very pleased with my purchase. Good value for the $$$. Would highly recommend this for home use.

We purchased this as well as a Winsome rack. This has a stylish look and feels very sturdy but is easy to fold up and store. Arrives fully assembled. It has staples for the straps which I've read other reviews complain about, but unless someone stacks excessively heavy luggage on the rack it doesn't feel like it will weaken. The dark wood on the Winsome looks more expensive than the light wood on this rack, but they're different looks. Please with my purchase
