Didn't work to my satisfaction today. Seems its size displaces the beans, rather than mashing them. I'll stick with a silicon potato masher from now on. Better coverage and less displacement in the skillet.

For $14.95 you will receive a filthy, and I mean FILTHY piece of questionable wood. It’s unbelievable that someone would actually pack this and sell this to people. I’m confused and put off. Don’t buy this.

I have been looking for something to make quick chickpea salad. I failed with other mashers. This one is amazing! Exceeded any expectations I had. I smashed 2 cans of chickpeas to a great consistency in 45 seconds so I was shocked. Quick hand wash and you’re done!

I use this for making jam. It crushes berries beautifully. It does stain a bit, but that's to be expected for berries. It feels very sturdy and I have no worries about it breaking.
