Did exactly what it said and produces very light and fluffy mashed potatoes. Might only he’s a couple times a year but it’s worth it to do it right.

I have to make sure the spuds are cooked thoroughly because it makes it extremely tough to shred them. Item is well made and easy to clean.

It has a good leverage for people who need it to really crush those potatoes into rice. Makes heavenly mashed, light fluffy not gluey. Use mine so much I need two so I can use one while the other is in the dishwasher. It is a bit fussy to clean so it takes some handwork before it goes in the DW.

I've been doing renovations to my house since July. I was out of a kitchen for 2 months. Which required me to eat out a lot, and I mean A LOT! Now that I have a fully functional kitchen, I've decided to start making a lot of the dishes and meals that I love. I love shredded hash browns. So I looked up a recipe to make them. The indicated a potato ricer was the secret to making them crispy. I read the reviews, and even watched a video on several options. I decided to go with this one. It is simple to use and the SQUEEZE is amazing. I knew potatoes held water, didn't know they held that much water. I made hash browns and they came out perfect!! I'm sure I can use it for a garlic press too! This is my new main squeeze!

The item is decent but not light enough and too bulky. It is not easy to clean too. There are better products out there!

I had never heard of a potato ricer, but needed one to make my grandmother's German potato dumpling recipe. I bought it based off other reviews that said it was durable and easy to clean. They were all right! This is a great product - and a great value!

I’ve had this potato ricer for several months now, so I can truly say that “I love it.†It is very easy to use, makes perfect mashed potatoes and is easy to clean. The quality is excellent; not flimsy like some. I highly recommend this product.
