Would have been five stars if holes had been drilled properly. Due to this some boards cracked during assembly. And didn’t come with any paperwork or instructions for assembly that being said it’s not all bad the rack itself once assembled seems to be pretty sturdy.

Let's start with the good: this is freestanding and will keep four pairs of skis out of the way. That said, the slots are too narrow for modern, twin-tip skis; I had to take the kid skis apart, insert them one at a time, and put them back together to make them fit. You can see in the photo that the tail lift hangs over the front of the rack. Flatter tails fit fine, but if the skis are tall or heavy it seems like they would tip the rack over.There were no instructions, but I like puzzles and there is an image in the product listing that shows you how it is supposed to go together. The biggest con is the boards are too thin and split when I screwed it together. You can see photos where two of the three cross-members cracked during assembly. They need to be thicker or pre-drilled, rather than tiny pinhole starters. Overall, this isn't a $50 ski rack and I would look for a better option rather than buy this again.
