These socks are unusual as they are different from ordinary socks. They wear more like a glove on your feet. As such, each sock is specifically designed for your left and right feet. It takes a little getting use to and are just a tad more difficult to place correctly on your feet but once you do they are comfortable. It takes a couple of runs to adjust to the feeling but once you have adjusted to wearing them it becomes normal. In my case, they seem to take less space in my running shoes so keep that in mind if you wear shoes that are already a bit loose although this could be different for everyone.They have a wool type feel to them rather than conventional cotton and on my first run I did suffer a little bit of friction on my big toe on one foot and between toes on the other foot. I was almost reluctant to use them again but washed them and did another (shorter) run the following week. This time the sock felt a bit more comfortable and I didn’t get any friction burns. By my third run, they felt more “normal†and I liked the feel of running in them. They are now actually quite comfortable and feel like they “fit like a gloveâ€. I look forward to running in these socks and do recommend them. Although it could just be the pair I received, I would suggest washing them before taking them on a long or extended run on your first wear. I was going to give theses socks a 4 star rating because of it but have decided on giving them 5 stars because since washing them I have really come to like them.

I just received these so have not worn them hiking yet. I've been wearing them around the house and they are incredible! So super soft and comfy. I will for sure buy more.

I walk at least 5 miles a day and I wear wool socks hear in South Florida not only to keep my feet warm when on our occasional cool days, but they also wick the sweat away from my feet and prevent blisters.

These fit surprisingly well. They were a good thickness - comfortable, breathable, and sturdy. I wish the "Creeper" logo was a bit more inconspicuous. I probably wouldn't wear them much due to that alone.

Rid all my boys socks and got a few packages of these. No more trying to find pairs and they look great as well.

The second time I wore them was an 11 mile run and ended up with a hole in the big toe of each sock. Sorry but I'll keep my Injinji and Xoskins. For the same price they wear much better.

Best running socks out there! Wore these for a marathon in Hawaii (very hot and humid) and had zero blisters, no hot spots, nothing! Can I give 10 stars?

Easier to put on than other well-known toe sock models. Comfortable for running although wool material makes you foot slip easily inside the shoe, which you may like or not. I don't.Also, the socks pill quite a bit. I end up picking my pair of the other brand more often in the end.

I used these on a long trekking adventure. They were breathable, easy to wash, and helped prevent blisters, which I am prone to.

Looking for solutions to combat blisters on long runs, seeing the creepers on a review, I chose this over the other more popular brand. The socks does not provides additional cushion like most sports socks. It is light, airy and fits well. Right out of the packaging, there are small amounts of wool on the packing and around the socks. By the time of writing, I ran in them for about 10 times including a 60k. It kept me blister free. But each time I took it for a wash (hand wash) on the first rinse, you find black wools that comes off the socks. That gets me wondering if this purchase from Amazon is authentic and if other users have similar experience?

-------------I am relatively happy with my purchase of the merino wool creeper socks. However, I have noticed that they started pilling after just one wear, which makes me question their quality. To extend their lifespan, I recommend handling them with care, such as washing them in a laundry bag. Despite this issue, they are comfortable, and with proper maintenance, they should last a while.
