These rollers seemed to be great quality and were definitely my preferred choice for painting my cabinets, but I couldn’t end up using them as they came made for a wider diameter roller than I owned. So while I can imagine them working well for someone with the right equipment, they weren’t what I needed. Make sure you check your roller diameter before purchasing!

I bought this to provide a smooth finish using latex paint on one wall in a home theater. The wall is used as a projection screen. So, a perfect finish was a must.I initially had reservations after seeing reviews indicating it did not hold up to water-based paint. But, in my case that was not an issue at all. I planned to roll on two coats of paint. The wall is 16x8. I rolled on the first coat and then wrapped the roller in plastic wrap. Four hours later, after the first coat set, I unwrapped it and used the same roller for the second coat. I had no issues at all and ended up with a great, smooth finish.

Did my cabinets with beyond paint a year ago with a 3/8 ultra smooth roller. They no longer carry them at Walmart and beyond paint says to use 3-8 nap…But did some research and found these work well for cabinets. I need to hit a set of cabinets I didn’t do last year when I did the previous ones.Came over very smooth. So nice i Bought it twice.

Best rollers for smoothe surfaces. No lint easy to clean. Holds enough paint to be functional yet not so much that it’s heavy or wastes paint when you go to clean it. It cleans and dries well and I get many uses out of one roller. I’ve been painting cement board siding and the rough edges are hard on the ends of the roller yet they still hold up well. I like the 7†roller b/c it’s more manageable for my messed up shoulders yet covers more than their jumbo mini. Obviously you need Wooster 7†frame. I have never seen these in any local store so be sure to order a few! The cheaper pro dooZ 7†is a nice compromise for rougher low sheen surfaces or primers. But the mohair is best for a great finish.

I was hopeful these roller covers would leave a smooth finish with Varathane exterior satin water based polyurethane.This cover did not work as hoped. These roller covers a bubble machines. They might possibly be OK for floors but for furniture, they are a no-go. But even floors might be a no-go but I’m not sure. I am sure they don’t work with furniture.The photo shows the table top I’m working on after I brushed the roller bubbles out with a twenty dollar 2 1/2 inch Purdy brush.As you can see, this sort of a project would not look good with a bubble wrap surface.Ideally, I would spray this table top but my sprayer compressor is being repaired and I need to get this table done.I’ll just sand the table top with 600 paper between brush coats after thorough drying. It’s a lot of work I was hoping to avoid.

Whatever is with the size sleeve won’t fit my old roller, useless. Also poor quality, leaves a jumpy finish
