I bought these to apply a shellac-based primer on pieces of furniture so I would not feel the need to clean them afterwards. They hold up well for a single-use roller cover and apply the primer fairly smoothly. They probably could be cleaned and re-used when applying water-based paints, but I have not had the occasion to try that.

These are the perfect size for rolling out a smooth surface like kitchen cabinets. Price is also good so I don't feel bad throwing them away instead of cleaning after every use. Will buy again.

Love these kind of rollers. They last a long time and you get your moneys worth.

I love the feel of these and how they smooth paint on the wall. However, because they curved the ends of them, it makes it really hard to use them in corners. I have to get the paint brush out and I bought these so I wouldn't have to do that.

The foam rollers work well, but each lasts for exactly 1.5 doors & trims. We painted 3 doors and trims so far, and each foam started to disintegrate after we were close to done with one door. After painting half of a second door, the end of the foam would fall off, leaving small pieces of foam on the painted surface. However, while it lasted, it did its job.

As the headline states, these don't do a very good job of absorbing paint, so you'll need to constantly load them with more after every single stroke you make. They also fall apart into big chunks; I noticed the ends in particular like to fall off. But, they do apply paint smoothly and consistently and they don't shed, despite falling into pieces. This puts them heads above other rollers I've used. Still awful, but not nearly AS awful as the alternatives.
