These clamps seem to work as expected. Some are more difficult to open one handed. Be careful not to lose the pads on these. They are loose.

They're not the largest, so keep this in mind when buying them for a project, but they work really well for the size they are!

When they say mini clamps, they really mean mini clamps. They work though. They were able to clamp my sheet music stand together while I glued the pieces together and they did the job. They just won't be large enough to do big jobs, so I'll have to still get bigger clamps for the larger projects. Had they been bigger, I'd give them 5 stars, but overall not awful. Just really small.

I bought this set specifically for the small bar clamps. I’m just getting started in wooden model ship building and I needed some larger clamps for things like clamping from one side of a ship to the other—roughly 3 inches or so. Even the smallest of my regular wood working clamps were too heavy—clamping partially assembled model ship in these was like clamping a piece of paper in a big metal pipe clamp! These work absolutely great and are the perfect size and weight for the job.

I used these clamps for a small trim job and I had to use tape as well to start the clamping process. They are definitely not for precise or delicate jobs but they are great for the price. They are really small as the measurements indicate and the ends of the clamps come off fairly easy. They seem like a good set to keep in the tool box for needs that don't require the heavy pressure of the larger metal clamps.
