I have been using this file a lot since I bought it. I put it on my knife bevel grinding jig, and I have used it a lot and it is a solid product. Iy stays sharp. It cleans out very well. I am very impressed.

After watching a youtube video on the correct way to use a file like this, I sharpened a small axe I have, as well as a tree limb lopper. Seems like it did a good job. I didn't need a razor's edge, just something to bring it mostly back. The axe was the easiest for me to sharpen and test, and it seems like it did a great job. Just make sure to watch a video on sharpening things with files, there's a particular way to do it, and you want to "de-bur" the other side of the blade after, also using the file. It's all dead simple.
