This 2-1/2-inch wet dry vacuum hose grip is a shop vacuum accessory that is designed to connect between the shop vacuum hose end and the extension wands providing a proper angle for cleaning and a handle that assists in reducing hand fatigue. The hose grip attachment also includes a bleeder value that allows the user to reduce suction at the end of the shop vacuum hose or nozzle by opening an additional airflow path.

Absolutely a perfect idea that works great. It allows you to adjust the suction to fit the need. When you have a 6 HP plus vacuum it can be far too much for some situations. With this you have instant adjustability of the suction and also due to the angle of the handle it makes the vacuum much more comfortable to use.In my case I bought it with a complete hose replacement kit because my hose was damaged and it took a special fitting to fit the Rigid Vacuum with a locking fitting that I needed it for. It turned out that the new hose kit came with two connection fittings. So I cut about 8 inches off of the damaged hose and used the other fitting to make a hose for my other 16 gallon vacuum that didn't have a locking fitting. So I used every last piece I bought and I plan to buy another handle for the other vacuum because it is just what I need to cover every situation.

We purchased this to go with the gutter cleaning accessories so we could clean second story gutters. Helps make a difficult job easier. Works well and fits our shop vac well.

The handle and suction regulation make this well worth the money. Perfect angle for floor vacuuming and the grip feels good in the hand. Well made and perfect for my older ShopVac machine.

Makes my dust collector hose and tubing more like a vacuum cleaner. Connects all hoses and attachments tightly. Not the cheapest cost, but it works.

Like the hose there is some mold flashing or whatever the excess is at the molding seams. It’s not a lot but it’s around some places. This is made of two pieces and has a join in the handle that can get annoying. But it is sturdy and my hand doesn’t get as tired as it used to without it.The red plastic suction valve has no stop on it and can 360+ around the hole. It is snug and doesn’t move on its own though.

The handle has very sharp seams and contact points. I could not use it without wrapping it in pvc tape. It's fine once you do that

It works for me in reducing hose collapsing at the connection point. Handle is comfortable for me to use.
