I was looking for something to keep my hands warm enough from high winds, good tactile function, rugged and something to go along with my olive drab flight jacket. So I purchased this pair of gloves. They met all my expectations and look good. I read in some reviews that they don't work with smartphones. It's a yes and no but it depends - the fingers of the glove are quite roomy and if that's the case for you, it's harder to work the touch-screen but you can still scroll up and down. If your fingers fill the gloves in a fitting manner, then it's less of a problem. My digits don't entirely fill up the glove fingers but I've been able to tap my passcode on the touch screen and scroll up and down to check my text messages.

Great gloves. Fit smaller. I ordered the size of thought I needed and couldn't get them on. I gave that pair to a friend and got the right set. They are very comfortable and block wind. I use them for atv riding

I like the look, has good grip, especially for driving or say shoveling snow. But only one side is more or less water resistant, if the palm side gets wet even a little bit somehow its totally useless in any cold situation. But tactical gloves aren't necessarily all winter gloves so that's whatever. It keeps your hands decently warm at somewhat cold weather, not for freezing temperatures. The knuckle was what attracted me at first, because the knuckle appears to be impact resistant. But the knuckle is simply hard plastic, it is not padded so it won't soften the blow to your knuckles. And since it's just regular hard plastic it will break if you punch anything hard enough, and the broken plastic might hurt you too so don't rely on it. Touch screen is so so. But it's pretty snug and comfortable, and looks cool to me. I don't regret the purchase.

These gloves are great! I’m active Law Enforcement, so these are great for on the job when searching somebody or their belongings. The added hard knuckle are also a plus in case things get a little intense. The only thing is if you wear them in the cold, make sure you have a liner glove, I wore these in 25 degree weather during a vehicle accident and my fingers still got cold. Above all, these gloves are great for the price.

My husband got these for work and the XL size is tight. He didn’t get them for the ability to use them with the phone but they dont work on the touchscreen. Other than that they seem ok.
