not bad for what it is had to file done one of the arms by less that an eight of a mill. so all and all worth the price. totally would buy again the action on it is smooth and the points and steel are sturdy

In my opinion, this leaves too big of a hole in end grain. I use it for hand cut dovetails and I have tried to leave small indents on it but the thing is shark and normally goes too deep.Easy enough to adjust.One problem I see with it is like one of the pics above , they are all like that.. twisted. Not sure if that’s how they are meant to be but all are like thatNot the quality of a brand name but will get the job done

They are very stable and accurate. I used them for laying out dovetail joints in woodworking. You can get much cheaper ones at Home Depot but they’re not nearly as good. If you want accuracy and repeatability, I recommend these.

The wing divider is well built I’ve used for several leather projects now. Those having issues with the brass part being stuck all you do is squeeze the sides, and unscrew it from it’s position it doesn’t seize up. I’ve gotten mine to open all the way up and have had no issues with it.

I have purchased cheap wing dividers from here and have promptly returned them, mainly because they were flimsy and when you pressed too hard on one side or another, the arms would bend and your lines would get uneven. Although small, these dividers' arms are round, making them much more sturdy. Also, the adjuster screw goes through the body, which also makes it more sturdy. They do not bend when you press down on them. Overall a winner compared to the cheap versions. They are a little on the small side, but works for the small leather goods i normally make. Adjustment screw is smooth and you can fine tune it, without it coming loose or anything.

Not worth the price! Decent product overall, especially if you ignore the price, but quality definitely leaves something to be desired.1. It only opens to 4.5cm, at which point brass washer gets wedged and unscrewing the but further has no effect.2. The black ‘spring’ up the top is quite weak, so pressing on the divider when it’s open can cause it to deviate from preset measurement3. Because of the way adjustment screw is attached the divider has quite a bit of play (skew) when extended
