I got turned on to these spoons because I accidentally bought some grapefruit. I thought they were large navel oranges, silly me! My brother, however, cut one open thinking it was an orange too, then realized after a bite, it was not! Then he simply put some sugar on it to eat it as intended. Some sweet to mask the bitter. A few days later he said that he once saw serated spoons that made eating a grapefruit easier. Hence, I fled to Amazon to look for such spoons. Now, I even eat the bitter fruit, and the spoons work really well! But like most everyone else, I have to add the sugar. Excellent spoons!

I bought this as a gift for my sister. She absolutely loves this set, and says it makes eating grapefruit such a breeze. She loves the little knife that was included. Nice quality.

Grapefruit spoons were shaped well and worked well. The quality was good for the price. Loved getting the free peeler along with the spoons. Would definitely recommend and buy again.
