I had to.modify the Pins or guides for it to fit for My Mazda 3 hatchback Trunk but it worked just fine once it was installed

Item works fine, but wires could be a little longer. I had to reorient the receptacle.

It works and the connector is correct. It is not the correct fit for a 2011 Mazda 3. With no modifications it will not fit. The grooves to insert it are different. It protrudes awkwardly even after lots of modifications to the plastic housing. I cut it up trying to make it work and although it fits now and works I’ll just have to buy an original one or go to the junkyard.

Has wrong grooves to slide into hole. And wiring is too short for hatchback.

The protruding notches around the housing of this button did not fit my 2010 Mazda 3, despite Amazon verifying it would. With a little filing I made it fit and it works great.
