WHAT I OBSERVEDSurface finish = about what I would expect for a typical extruded aluminum piece (see the attached photo).Average leg thickness (measured at four places with a digital micrometer) = 0.237â€Average leg width (measured at four places with a digital caliper) = 1.955â€Lengths of each of the two pieces were just over 48 inches, as specified.WHAT I EXPECTEDPer my following query to Copilot AI regarding manufacturing tolerances...“What would generally considered to be leg-thickness and width-thickness tolerances for 2" x 2" x 1/4" extruded 6061 angle?... I received the following answer:“For a 2" x 2" x 1/4" extruded 6061 aluminum angle, the tolerances for leg thickness and width thickness are typically as follows:Leg Thickness Tolerance: ±0.015 inchesWidth Thickness Tolerance: ±0.015 inchesThese tolerances can vary slightly depending on the specific standards and manufacturer, but these values are generally accepted in the industry.â€BOTTOM LINEThe surface finish is satisfactory.The leg thicknesses and piece lengths are in line with Amazon-page specifications.The leg widths are seemingly 0.03†undersized relative to generally accepted factory tolerances.Except for the slightly-undersized leg widths, these appears to be quality aluminum angles.

Dimensions are accurate (mostly to within a few thousandths), as stated in the description. These arrived in excellent condition with smooth surfaces, no burrs, though still clean sharp edges on end cuts. Good quality aluminum angle stock in a length (I got the 48-inch version) that lends itself well for use in many more projects than would the more common 1- or 2-foot lengths. Good quality and price - recommended!

Angles arrived undamaged, all angles were straight and square, length accuracy is nominal and no burrs or shavings in the packaging or left on the angles. Great for projects around the house or low strain applications.

The 2x2x1/8" angle received has a mill finish, and it's cut to the exact length. You can't ask for better.

This 1" x 1" x 1/8" in 12" length aluminum angle looks similar to other 6061 metal aluminum angle that I have used in the past. There are visual surface lines running parallel on the various surfaces, but I cannot really feel them. The edges are not sharp except on the length ends where they were cut to length. The actual measurements on the aluminum angle are slightly smaller though at 63/64" x 63/64" with a thickness ranging from 0.114" to 0.117", but the length does measure 12" exactly. I am happy that they are actually 12" rather as opposed to many others I have ordered that are always at least 1/16" shorter. Overall, the material is a good quality, and it worked well for my project in the shop.

These Xadnitu 2 Pieces 2" x 2" x 1/4" Aluminum Angle 6061, Angled Aluminum Extrusion for DIY, are high quality 1 foot long 2"x2"x1/4" L angle aluminum. They can be used for a variety of reinforcement projects or even to build something. Since they are aluminum they are resistant to rot and corrosion. They are a high quality for what they are and their price is great. Remember, you get 2 of these for the price. They have a nice finish on them and are great for industry or home DIY applications. I'd recommend them!
