This was a replacement wort pump for a March pump that died. Great flow rate and easy prime. Way more flow then the Chugger pump on my hot liquor side, this may be simply because the other one is at least 10 years old or maybe the other one had a lower rating. Anyway pleased with the pump and will order again when I need one.

This is the second pump that we have had a problem with and the first one was replaced under our insurance we purchased. We may have to buy the Blichman pump to get the quality we need.

I used it 1 time and went to brew for the second and the motor would run but the fan wouldn’t turn. Haven’t been able to use it since. I own a brewery and didn’t have time to box it up and send it back so that’s my fault but as far as the pump goes......stay away from it

Best pump I've used so far. the Blichman burned my hand, the Sea Flo leaked out of the box, and the MKII got air lock and burned up the impeller twice ( which may have been my fault). Regardless the new X dry impeller lasts 10X's longer and will not burn up if you accidentally get air lock and are not paying attention during a brew. I am saving up for a CHugger MAX but for now I love this pump for small batches. Thanks Chugger!

I’ve used my current chugger pump for the last two years on my 1/3 BBL system and have made plenty of batches to boot. I’ve also used this pump several times to run CIP in my system for up to 35 minutes or so at a time. You can throttle this pump very easily by attaching a valve to the “OUT†port and controlling your flow .I would recommend this pump to anyone and would have no problem using this in up to a 1-Barrel system.

Extremely disappointed. Lasted about 5 brews.
