This tape looks and works much better than electrical tape for wrapping wire harnesses. It's also easier to work with. I'm rewiring my motorcycle. The harness blends into the background due to it's matte finish. And it's cheaper than electrical tape. Appears to be very good quality.

This was used to combine multiple electrical cables in a car, added due to a Dash Cam. Using this in an area that is visible adds a touch of an OEM look that is appreciated!

This has a lighter build and fleecy backing than normal wire harness tapes that X-fasten and Tesa sell. It can also be torn by hand.My pictures compare it to Tesa 51036. The adhesive is not as sticky or pervasive as a normal harness tape. Not necessarily a bad thing, it should still stick just fine to cleaned wires/bundles if applied properly. The fleece helps dissipate vibration/noise so this could be good on wires that travel along the surface of a body panel or other part. I think it might also make the wires slightly more flexible. For a lot of applications in the engine bay, I’ve used and recommend the regular type of wire harness tape. Especially where temps are really high and/or you need more durability. (Remember, it can be torn by hand..)

This is so much better than the standard vinyl electrical tape for securing and bundling up wires in your car or anywhere else. The fabric looks like what OEM manufactures uses for wire harnesses. It has a clean look, secures well and provide good protection scraping and rubbing. I can also see using this for dampening rattle and noise between panels. The tape itself is not very stick, but does a good job holding tight to whatever you wrapped it around. It looks a lot like a thinner felt tape. It makes your wrapped wires look more original. I don't see anywhere that says you can or cannot use this over bare electrical wire, but regardless, I'll probably cover any bare wire with shrink tube or standard electrical tape first and then use this to cover the wire harness to give it a finished look. Good buy.
