Was actually very surprised by how well this cut with ease. And I gotta admit that it feels very comfortable in my hand. Very sturdy with no flex or bending in the plastic. I have cut atleast 50 fat quarters down to 5x5 charm squares of some thick traditional Japanese fabric, and the blade is still razor sharp. It also came with a replacement blade which I still haven’t had to use. The retractable blade is also a nice touch so you don’t accidentally cut yourself. That function also works great. Push the thumb trigger down to extend the blade out and it locks into position automatically. There is another small button just down to the side of that trigger that when pushed, the blade springs back up into its safety position. Super easy and quick to get it ready and cutting. Just as fast to get it closed and put back away. The price is cheap enough to atleast give it a shot. I believe it’s also easy to find more replacement blades for it as they are a pretty standard size for regular rotary cutters. This is one of those items that you buy and after you try it out, you feel like you actually spent your money on something that was worth it. So I don’t think I need to tell you if I would suggest this cutter to other people. The question is, “Do you want one of these great rotary cutters?†I don’t care if you are a professional seamstress or the one off hand stitcher. Having one of these can make your work move a lot faster and smoother. Not to mention the strait clean cuts you can achieve without fraying the fabric. Do yourself a favor. Try it out! I hope this review helps some of you out.

I had seen videos of crafters and fellow crop toppers like myself use these and always doubted how well these actually worked. I couldn’t believe how awesome this product is, cuts through even the thickest denim with ease and is very simple to use. Comes with extra blade replacements and has a safety feature and is small enough to store without being bulky.

i cropped and took of a lot of sleeves of a lot of shirts with this rotary cutter. it was awesome! although i did accidentally cut myself a few times the cuts were small and they didn’t really bother me(this was my first time using a rotary cutter). it’s a cool design and if you use it right you won’t get hurt like i did lol. it arrived on time and it was wonderful using it.

Lefty sewist and crafter here. I can attest that their lefty friendly design is ACTUALLY lefty friendly. It's very easy to switch the blade to the other side, and the safety button is easy to avoid when in use, easy to press with my index finger when I'm done. Blades are good quality and SHARP. I'm so glad I finally got a rotary cutter that I don't struggle with!

This fabric cutter is fantastic. It's super sharp so it cuts through fabric so easily. So easy to work with and comfortable to hold. Extra blade is a good bonus.

Got this on sale. It's very sharp and easy to use. Save me so much time on cutting. There's lock/unlock button which automatically lock the wheel in place when you are cutting, you press the button to make it pop back in the slot for storage. Cutting straight lines is very easy. Cutting curves takes some practice.

I used the rotary cutter (45mm) when I was making a blanket. The blanket was made with 2 pieces of polar fleece tied around the edges. The rotary cutter cut through the 2 pieces of thick fabric nickity-split. Never had to use scissors. What a game changer. (I also bought a self healing mat 18"x24" from Wal-mart to use under the fabric. It was cheaper than Amazon) The rotary tool was cheaper too at Wal-Mart. I didn't know they sold them until I already had bought from this site.

I did send a message to the company that although this rotary cutter does cut well, it does state the blade can be changed over to the other side for a left handed person. The rotary cutter will not let you place the blade on the other side. I reloaded the blade to the side it came on, and I am using it that way, although the plastic bolt does not allow me to fully see what I am doing. I gave it 3 stars as the blade can only sit on the left side [which is great if you are right handed] and the company has done no follow up with me.
