Ok product, but the gold pieces included are different color golds ie: 18kt gold plated, 14kt gold plated, KC gold plated.

My set tarnished almost immediately became dingy brown and gross looking. My girls made me a Christmas gift with it and it turned a funky brownish gold. I make jewelry for a living so wanted this to be really and work out.

I cannot attest to whether or not this chain is really 14K gold or something else but at the very least, it looks like gold and it hasn't tarnished yet so I'm hopeful. This is a nice, value priced set for the DIYer, especially for the beginner since the kit contains everything needed to put a nice finish on a necklace or to extend the length of an existing necklace that's just a wee bit too short.

This is some of the prettiest dainty gold chain. Perfect for bracelets or necklaces. Very beautiful chain.

The website says each spool is 39.4 inch long, however all the spools were only 30-31 inches long.
