I bought this to fix a rough spot on a marble counter. It did the trick and save me a lot of money compared to what it would have cost to hire a pro to do the exact same thing.

Pads vary slightly by color but no trace of abrasive.Good luck polishing stone. It may be good for skin though but I don't recommend.

I really like these pads they work rather well. Sanded down some granite and made a lazy Susan turned out nice.

I was using these to put a bullnose on some travertine tile. I used them with my angle grinder which has a 9K max RPM. About 1/2 hour after I got started, the hook and foam attached to the backer pad started coming of. I was able to superglue it back on, but I am not confident that the backer pad would last long enough to actually use all of the life in the polishing pads provided in this kit. Certainly NOT professional grade!

These polishing discs were perfectly easy to use and highly effective. My old white marble table, its luster long obscured by stains, its surface rough to the touch, once again reflects light and feels smooth. The discs make a great difference and offer real value.
