My lift sat in my garage for three or four years until I needed it again, and then it wouldn’t hold pressure. I tried to bleed it, etc, but something rotted. So, I bought this ram and swapped it out. Took something like 15 minutes, it was easy, and now I have a working lift again. Used it several times since then moving around a 305 and a 350 engine, holding them up for a few days sometimes, and have had no loss or pressure or any problems.

My hydraulic ram on my HF engine hoist had a leak that was only getting worse. Cheap insurance to replace it with this unit. Works like it should. Highly recommend.

It arrived in good condition, mounted up well, appears to work ok.Time will tell, I've not picked a load with it yet.

Perfect fit. Had to change the lift cylinder on my 3ton Pittsburgh folding engine hoist, after a friend borrowed it for 2 weeks it would not lift and hold anymore.

Arrived quickly. Only 1 star because the ram shaft is of poor quality, very rough surface that will wear out the "O" ring quickly. I have the equipment to smooth down the shaft's surface, but most people will not be able to do what I had to do. Once it was disassembled, the poor quality of workmanship was evident! I found metal shavings around the shaft's base and inside the ram itself! No quality control at manufacturer.The valves (I bought 2 rams), on both of the rams is of very questionable quality. One valve was Very hard to operate, and wouldn't pump up, so I thought it didn't have oil in it. It did have oil in it, so I forced the valve to close, and it began pumping up. No paperwork or instruction/parts diagram of any kind in the shipment.I wouldn't advise purchase of this product for anyone without a lot of time to rebuild the rams!
