I bought this cleaning kit to take care of my tenor sax, I saw a lot of cleaning kits and lots of them despite were cheaper than this cleaning kit, this was truly the most complete I saw. Tone hole cleaners, mouthpiece brush and cleaning paper were things that may look kind of unnecessary but is truly a game changer if we talk about extending our horn's life. Recommended.

If you have a a tenor or alto sax, do yourself a favor and get this Yamaha kit. It has everything needed to keep the horn parts clean, including two swabs with heavy duty flat ribbons attached making it easy to clean the main body and neck without fear of breaking them. These are quality items! Included are papers to clean pads, a nice polishing cloth, "pipe" cleaners for tone holes, chapstick style cork grease (so you don't have to smear it on with your fingers), and a maintenance regime to follow, along with frequencies of what should be cleaned and when. I'm sure I left out something, because this kit is complete. Buy it - it's less expense than most, but I sure wasn't disappointed. Remember loud pipes save lives, so clean your horn with this product, and live long and prosper.

Great basic maintenance kit for your aspiring musicians. Bought this for my teenage son and he is quite pleased with what it contains. He needed something that was small enough to put in his sax case as he travels a great deal for music competitions. We looked at similar kits at the local music store and they were much higher priced for less supplies. He especially likes the cleaning swabs and cloth. Not high end of course, but perfect for quick touch ups and keeping your instrument ready to play.

Purchased this for use with a used Vito alto sax. The cleaning tool works great for wiping out the moisture from the sax. the weighted string is long enough to allow one to reach it from the bell. Cork grease works fine on cork. Have not used anything else in the kit. Comes with what I used to call a book of "cigar papers" to clean pad surface and some other items which we have not needed. No complaints.

I bought to basically dry the horn after playing but it includes some special brushes that work great with the sticky keys...as well the thin paper tissues.

This kit contains anything one will need to adequately keep their saxophone clean. It comes with two swabs, a small one for the mouthpiece and neck, and a large one for the main bell. Polishing cloth, octave hole cleaners, cork grease and pad cleaner paper finish out the package. Their is a small insert which goes over the basics of saxophone maintenance, although not very elaborate, it is a good addition to this kit.Priced decently and good quality makes this a must buy for anyone who needs a saxophone cleaning kit :)
