To ship two expensive speakers in a box with no protection whatsoever is ridiculous. No padding, no paper, nothing. The boxes just bounced around during shipping!!! I don't know whether to blame amazon or Adorama!

Purchased these as surround speakers for the Yamaha MusicCast/400 Soundbar/subwoofer system purchased just a month prior.The instructions Yamaha provided were useless to hook these up as surround speakers, as they pertain to simply hooking them up as stand alone music speakers in a room. Using the MusicCast controller downloaded on my iPhone (a must), I stumbled into Yamaha recommendations to add it to the Soundbar system.I set the speaker distances from the listener on the MusicCast app on my iPhone and followed the test tone set up for distance from the listener and volume levels for each speaker. Trying that out through a few movies, decided to boost the volume of the subwoofer a couple of units as well as the surround speakers a couple of units.Make sure the 3D surround is turned off and the sound program is set to TV Program. The sound quality is amazing!! Movies through Netflix are terrific and the clarity through the MusicCast20 surround speakers is remarkable. These units have excellent build quality.Even better, play a Blu-Ray disc through your smart TV (I have a 65" LG UHD and the audio quality is actually superb. For the cost of the $450 for the pair, you can't go wrong.

I have several Yamaha MusicCast speakers. I purchased two of these particular speakers because of their ability to be paired and work in stereo. I also like the ability to link multiple rooms together, very useful with parties or when I'm moving around the house. The sound is good and when they function as advertised, they're great.They regularly become unpaired. It doesn't happen everyday, but at least once a week. I worked with Yamaha support. We deleted the speakers from the MusicCast app and rejoined them. Of course, we couldn't reproduce the issue over the phone. The next day, the problem returned. I was told the speakers will become unpaired if one loses power. My speakers are plugged into a shared power strip with a digital clock that would blink if the power was lost. So, power outage isn't the cause. Though not helpful, Yamaha support was very patient and willing to work with me to try and find a solution.I discovered a quicker resolution on my own. The fix is easy enough, unplug / plug in the master speaker, then do the same with the second. This done, the speakers show up in MusicCast as they should (a single room), But... Who has time or patience for this when coming in from work wanting to relax on your couch and hear music... in stereo?The second issue I'm having is, when the speakers are paired, the ability to link these speakers to other rooms is like flipping a coin. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. I'm more savvy with technology than the average person. I can say with confidence the issues are not related to network or Wi-Fi. The issue is the same when the speakers are hard wired to the network.If I didn't already have several other MusicCast speakers I'd send these back and buy something else. The sound is good though. So, I unpaired them and set them in different rooms. It's not what I bought them for, but I made lemonade from this.

I only needed on speaker but it was sold as a 2-pack. I would like to return one, but don’t know how. The speaker itself is good, and there were no problems with delivery

The setup was needlessly complicated but, and I say this carefully, these speakers work perfectly as the rear surround speakers connected using MusicCast to my Yamaha V6A.

I ordered these WX-021 speakers as wireless rear pair. I live in apartment with wall to wall carpeting so I could not easily run wiring to a rear pair, so I purchased a Yamaha RX V-485 compatible receiver to run wireless speakers. I am neither a computer or an audio/video neophyte but I spent 8-10 hours trying to get these things to work via the app with no success. I finally called Yamaha & I got a courteous, patient & technically proficient support rep name Edgar who walked me thru the Byzantine setup process. He got them work. I happy with the speakers but took a star for the setup misery. In the end I did find happiness. Good experience with the seller too.
