I am a true beginner and used these as my first set of needle and my first project ( after using for 2 days some needles I made out of some wooden dowels i had lating around and sharpened the ends to a point lol). I saw a few comments saying that they didnt stay together when you added the cords for length. Im not sure if it is operater error but when i use and connect mine they are perfectly fine and have only come loose in one spot one time and that was due to moving the whole progect while folded all up around a bit and then being carless with them when beginning it again. other then that these are the perfect thing for any beginner and have been more then perfect for me to use. That being said there are a few flaws and or improvments that could be made:Firstly they are too short travel freidly but a bit too short especially for beginners, being that they are metal and so very slick it become difficult to move doen as the yarn just keeps sliding and you may loose a few stiches but you can easily pick them right back up.Secondly the cord they come with just are very long and not very practial i find.. i have to use all four just for the small (more like half) of a couch throe blanket!.and lastly the color coating or whatever they use comes off fairly easy and they will begin to look rought after about 6 months of good use depending on how gentle you are at all times. But other these these few minor things I think they are great and were the perfect beginner set i could have possibly found and was worth every penny spent on them!!

I like the package they were in for purple my favorite color. The nee are so easy to use,value for the money. Very functional.

I bought these so I can have all the sizes I need but the yarn would get stuck at the connection. I couldn’t get the yarn passed the connection and would have to start over. I won’t use these ever again.

I was finishing up a sweater when the kit arrived. I had a sleeve to add.Pros: Everything arrived as described. It’s a nice case with lots of accessories.I used the 12-inch cable, which was the smallest, with the U.S. size 7 needles. I didn’t have a problem with any snagging or joinings coming loose until I reached the end of the sleeve and the stitches were stretched out and tight as the sleeve size decreased. I’m not sure if that had anything to with the joining coming loose. But once the joining came unscrewed a little, the stitches started to catch, so I knew to check it and didn’t drop any stitches. Yay!Initially I wished the needles had the U.S. sizes on them for fear of grabbing the wrong needles, but I did just notice the U.S. needle size is imprinted in the case. That’s very helpful.There is a rubber gripper included in the kit. It’s great for holding the needle when you’re joining the needle and cable. Nice needle ruler, and stitch markers. I didn’t try the scissors.Cons:These needles are pointier than a Bates needle. I had to stop a few times because my finger was sore from pushing on the sharper point to push the stitches around. I haven’t had that problem with the bigger points. I’ve been knitting for many, many years.The kit would be perfect with a five or six-inch cable for doing sleeve ends, socks, and smaller items. I’ll have to see if I can find a cable that will fit these needles.I’d give this kit 5 stars if the points weren’t so small they made my finger hurt. :)Overall, a great kit.

My daughter surprised me with these, and they are absolutely perfect! The sizing is accurate, and I love the different lengths of cord. I haven’t had any problem with the needles coming unscrewed from the cording. These are great for all the different projects I have planned and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a set of interchangeable knitting needles!

These things have been great for me learning to knit. They do start to wear at the ends the longer you use them. However I’ve been using them for a couple months now and still love them. Would recommend for beginners ESPECIALLY for the price! I attached a blanket I knit with them recently.
