I previously tried another raised bowl brand. That design was 4" high, and the bowls were tilted / slanted.The major issue with those was that the slanted water bowl design restricted the amount of water it held.My review of the YauYik Raised Cat Food Water Bowl Set:These are perfectly designed.You get two different bowls, each is 5" high. One for food, the other for water, both wider than normal to prevent "whisker fatigue", if that's really a thing. The water bowl is much deeper than the food bowl, witchfor me, was a major big deal. These bowls are not tilted. The best feature is that the water bowl holds a lot of water. This water bowl also has a slightly indented lip around the edge. This prevents my cat from splashing the water over the rim. Previously, I always needed to place a paper towel under the normal size low water bowl.Not only does the water bowl hold a lot of water, there's no more water on the floor.My 7 year old cat used them with no issues right away. You will need to use a traditional low floor bowlfor kittens, however.Did you ever ask yourself, what was the designer thinking when they designed a product. Did they ever use the product, and / or correct their poor design? We see this issue in almost anything we buy.Obviously, the YauYik Raised Cat Food Water Bowl Set was either properly designed in the first place, or improved as time went on.I don't see how they could be better, except the manufacturer may wish to consider offering an additional lower height for kittens or very small cats.These are perfect. 5 stars are not enough !

Purchased these for my cat, and while they look sleek and modern they are a little more bulky/hefty than you might imagine - almost more like a small dog. I was incredibly impressed with the packaging and quality, very secure and not one imperfection. Not the perfect fit for us, but could be great for someone else!

These are so perfect! They are so beautiful and they are a lovely convenience for my cat! He is older and has a little arthritis in his shoulder so he used to meow loudly before going down to his low bowls. This has eliminated his discomfort! The water bowl is deeper than the food bowl which I didn’t even realize until I saw them in person- great feature!Easy to clean, great size for water and food! Overall highly recommend!
