I use this to take my bows to me luthier for re-hairing. I also store my backup bows in it. It’s sturdy and well made. My only recommendation is that it had a locking mechanism.

a variety of bows fit easily and securely in this case, inclduing my viola, violin, and historical fiddle bow that is too long to fit in a standard violin case. This is absolutely essential for the ease of bringing your bows to the shop to get rehaired and for safely carrying historical bows which don't fit securely in a standard case. It looks more expensive than it is. Time will tell how the plastic latches hold up; however, I am not worried if they pop open since the bows are well secured inside the case. Shipped immediately and arrived much in advance of expected date. Very pleased!

It arrived earlier than expected. It looks sturdy.When I unpacked it, I noticed a few dents on the body even with the films on. There’s mysterious black bump as well. I wonder if the QA was done before shipping. I wanted to return but I need it use it in a few days so I‘ll keep it.

I love this case! I haven’t really traveled with it yet and I’m pretty clumsy when I’m tired so we shall see how it takes my treatment of it. But I love it! Sturdy strap to wear it. I’m a little worried that the latches might knock open. But that might be deceiving. It’s still worth the buy!

Per trasportare i miei due archetti da violino è perfetta. Appena arrivata credevo fosse danneggiata in superficie, che presentava delle spellature, ma si trattava della pellicola protettiva da togliere. Lo spallaccio non sembra particolarmente resistente, soprattutto per i moschettoni in plastica. Credo rinforzerò il tutto prima che si rompa…in corsa. Anche le due chiusure non sono particolarmente sicure, per cui metterò un laccetto di velcro intorno a chiudere, per sicurezza. Nel complesso è una bella custodia rigida e, con qualche accorgimento, credo andrà benissimo.
