I used these when I had to pull out/drop in a boat engine where the best option was to use a forklift we had access to. We needed every inch of the six feet these extensions gave us to get centered over the engine and they worked flawlessly for that.

they are wider than 4.5, they are almost 5 inches wide and they don't have the two pieces of metal under them to help keep them on your forks

I just noticed these fork extensions were shipped with out lock pins and safety chains Guess zill have to create them. VERY 😞

Good price for what you are getting. Sturdier than other options that we've seen available. We're happy with these. And they have not bent yet!
