Don't be discouraged by sewing them together, just search for "kiss class coin wallet" on YouTube, which is full of great English sewing videos. I would like to say that this is an intermediate project, as sewing on the buckle frame can be a challenge. But this is a great weekend project, all you need is your own scissors!

The materials provided were exactly as needed for completing this little purse, and I really like the finished product. I had trouble following the instructions, which were largely in Chinese, only partially translated into English. However, after my husband suggested using Google Lens in my phone's camera app to translate the Chinese instructions (which worked great!), I was able to finish the little purse. I have an Android phone, but my husband was similarly able to translate the instructions using his iPhone. That said, there are some leaps in the instructions and so I would not consider this a beginner project - this is for someone who is already comfortable with embroidery and hand-sewing. If that is you - this didn't take too long and the finished result is perfect!

Instructions were in both languages but production steps were not in English. I would prefer complete English instructions.

I am a beginner and enjoyed stitching these projects until it got to the construction of the actual purse. The instructions are laughable and even after you watch the Yu Jenny purse video (thanks so much to the other reviewer for recommending it) it’s still quite difficult to get the final purse stitched onto the metal clasps.Later I discovered that all these purse patterns are stolen directly from the book “Simply Stitched with Embroidery†by Yumiko Higuchi. I feel annoyed to have bought the patterns from someone who didn’t create them, and the directions in Higuchi’s book share more patterns and have better directions to boot.

This is a really cute kit that came with everything you need to finish it. As others have stated, the instructions are a bit confusing as to how to assemble the purse. I do have sewing experience but after several attempts and a few tears- (I didn’t want to ruin it!) I turned to YouTube to find a video on how to assemble it. Yu Jenny has a good video, just search for “Embroidered Coin Purse†and it should come up. These can easily be finished in a day or two, and would make a darling gift. I’d definitely order again!

This kit is comprehensive with all you need to make the coin purse. It is a great craft for sitting on the couch, watching TV and working on. I love that, and it is what prompted me to get this kit. I wish the kit was in something that kept it all together better, like a plastic re-closeable box/bucket and I wish the flowers were purple instead of yellow...because they look like Scottish thistles to me (which are purple). I think this will make a cool handmade gift when I'm finished. Quality materials and the instructions are easy to follow. Great for beginners, which I am. I highly recommend.
