This bit has a total cutting depth of 1/2" and a 1/2" shank. The bevel design angle is 30°. I used this bit to make a custom ogee on a drawer face and a cabinet door edge. Cut the oak well. nice and smooth. I don’t know how long it will last, but it worked well for a few drawers and doors.

Used once to cut a big groove and it worked well with a clean cut. Can’t comment on longevity but happy for the price. Don’t need to use it much if I did may have sprung for a higher name

So far I have had really good luck with Yonico bits. I have six so far and they have been worth the $$. Every one I have purchased has been sharp and has lasted. Not so true for other import brands.

I'm actually adapting this bit to cut a "gripping" grove on both side of a 2 x 6 handrail. The bit is made well and is working great.

I wanted a smaller raised panel bit for cabinet doors & drawers. This bit met my expectations. It's well balanced. You do need to run it slow on pine to prevent burning. The half inch shank is longer than most bits which is good for getting extra depth. I actually used several passes with offset depth & fence positions to make a longer sloped portion.
