Yes, the shade is thin. Yes, you can barely see a sun spot when the sun is high. But it certainly does the job. It keeps the car quite cool compared to no shade at all. I have a model 3 with a true multi-layer shade, but this one is way better. It’s super-easy to install, and it looks very good—like an OEM product of the car. A tight fit with no droopy or saggy areas. Best shade on the market, and it looks good.

This is a must have accessory if you own a tesla. The glass roof is nice except when you are inside the car when the temperature is 100 degrees outside. This cover solves that problem. It's easy to install, lowers the temperature inside the car by far, the price is excellent. Fits perfectly in a model Y.

It takes me 15 minutes to install this. After the last few days driving, I can feel the heat go away during the hot days. My wife loves it

The description clearly says multiple 5-7 layers. All I see is 1 layer and it is not thick enough to stop sunlight completely. They need to change the description to what the product is. I returned it.

Works well, good bit. Mot much more needs to be said. Maybe not quite as easy to install, remove and pack away. But frankly, I thing this will be installed once per year and pack away once per year.
