When you think about sandbags, you don't think $20. I had a hard time with the initial price because all I could see was the main price. But, as my camera equipment collection grew and I needed more than one sandbag to hold everything down, I felt better about the idea. $5 each feels alot better when they all get used.The bags are ballistic nylon lined with some kind of TPU/plastic/rubberish material with big zippers on each side to fill them up.I try to get the job done with just water bottles as a first attempt. I like having extra water on hand, especially on hot filming days and it can be used for other stuff as needed. If I need max weight then I fill the bags with the fancy sand from Home Depot.The carabiner clips aren't absolutely necessary but they do make it alot easier to hang from all the different stands. They aren't weight rated so don't go climbing with them, stick to hanging bags in noncritical spots.

I bought these 6 months ago because we have high winds in Vegas. I am using them to weigh down my patio furniture. The straps already tore off completely. Very cheap material.

I ordered this set of 4 YOOFAN Sandbags - Versatile Weight Bags for Photography to use in my home photography studio.Over time, I've purchased larger and heavier softboxes. I've also picked up some heavy duty light stands that will get 9-10 feet tall. When you've got a studio strobe with a large softbox mounted on a light stand and pushed 10 feet into the air, you really need a sandbag or two to stabilize the base of your light stand. These sandbags do a good job of that.Needless to say, these come empty. They can be filled with sand, gravel, or even water bottles. I tried filling one of the sandbags with gravel and a second one with sand. I found that sand works much better. When filled with gravel, the sandbag is much harder to handle and harder to get placed exactly where you want it on the base of your stand. I was able to fill two of these bags with what was left in a 50 pound bag of sand (I'd guess that you can get between 15-20 pounds of sand into each sandbag.) The sandbags effectively keep the sand inside of them with no leaking. This is because of the quality and thickness of the material along with the sealing ability of the zipper.It's easy to move these sandbags thanks to the handle. They are constructed to have two chambers, so it is easy to drape them across a light stand, tripod, or similar device. I'm very satisfied with these sandbags.

I have several different brands of sandbags to help keep my light stands from tipping over when using a larger studio light modifier or a boom. This set of sandbags is pretty well made but not as heavy duty as some of my other bags. It is well stitched and does have a flap over the zipper. The zipper is a nice quality (I've had some sandbags that had really cheap feeling zippers.) I won't know how durable these are until I've used them for quite some time but, considering I'm pretty careful with my gear and won't be tossing these around, I'm sure they'll hold up well enough. I'm not as confident in the carabiners that came with the bags. They seem to be aluminum and I probably won't use them when counterbalancing my boom stands. I'll use heavier duty carabiners or clips since I can't risk the sandbag dropping.All in all, if you're looking for reasonably priced sandbags and don't need really heavy duty ones, these should work fine.

I got this bag for a combination camera tripod weight bag and a weight bag for RV use. I wanted to be able to put in the bag whatever I had available to me for weight. Thats what this bag set does for you. Got dry sand? The bags handle that of course. Got wet sand? The bags have a rubber lining, so they won't be a wet bag when they are full of wet sand. Got rocks? The bags are tough enough to handle the rough stuff. Got dirt? Just shovel it in. If you don't have dirt, sand or rocks then just use water bottles. The pockets are just right for 16.9 Fl Oz (500mL) water bottles.The bags have good strong zippers and strong nylon strap handles. The carabineer hooks are great for attaching to most anything. The double bags are great for just laying across something you want to hold down. There are flaps over the zippers helps in keeping the dirty zippers in a pocket.Overall, the weight bags were better than I expected. Compared to the other bags I have found on sale these bags are a better value for the cost.
