I think i expected cardboard strength at least, but the material is just stiffened felt. One will easily hold all of my hats and my husband’s hats with room to spare. Now they can be stored dust free which is all I really need anyway. I can store sheets or blankets in the other one.

So far it’s holding 9 hats, it has enough room for another 2-3 hats. Also, depending on the type of hats they might be. It keeps them away from dust, which I was looking for a product that could protect them instead of having them hanging in the open.
