Fits right into the dome light on my hotrod. Very bright white light, as compared to the yellowish light from the old incandescent bulb. It also runs much cooler if you have the doors open or interior light on for a extended time.

They were exactly what I was looking for non flickering well built led lights that would get along with my trucks picky onboard compartments system and still be super bright and comfortable. Awesome lighting I need to buy quite a few more for all of my family and friends who are envious of how my interior lights look.

Used these as license plate lights. The bright white effect of the bulbs looks really nice. The install was quick and easy. These work perfectly for my 3rd gen Lexus RX 350 cargo area. There are three lights with switches in the back cargo area-one on each side and one in the hatch back and these fit and work perfectly. Easily 2-3x brighter and bright white vs. yellow glow from original bulbs. Lights are a bit of a PITA to get out. Use plastic trim tools, not metal screwdriver or you will scratch the plastic around the light. Took 5 minutes to replace all 3. Pro tip: test light to make sure it works before snapping back in place. If it does not work, flip the bulb around.

These do work for both dome, and map lights in my 2001 F-150. They are WAY brighter and cooler (old bulbs caused brown overheat marks in fixtures). Dome light easy to install, and the map lights much more difficult, but no fault of the LED bulbs. They are directional, unlike the original bulbs, so when you install them they need to be turned in the fixtures to direct the light properly. I can't comment on longevity, since I just installed them. Hope they last! I am happy, so far....

For some unknown reason, Toyota elected to use a 28mm Festoon bulb (shown in pic), as opposed to the standard 31mm used in the front driver / passenger doors. Minimal documentation available, so it was a bit of a hunt to identify the correct bulb. Pleased that this fits and functions, with maximum brightness.Recommended.
