We got a pack of sinker slides in a lure kit and had never seen such a thing before, so we had to get more! These are a bit on the small side, perhaps best suited for a 1-2 oz weight of a teardrop shape with an eye or flat with a hole. I don't think egg sinkers would fit on this right unless they were small. We have found these devices, combined with swivels, to work really well for helping your line not get twisted around in strong currents or by an energetic fish, thereby making it less likely for your line to break or kink.

The YOTO sinker slide are perfect for making fish finder rigs. I put them on my saltwater fishing setup and have had no issues with the sinker slide sliding on my braided 40lbs SpiderWire. Since its a huge pack, I gave a few to my friends and they all love it as well. So far I haven't had any issues with them breaking or loosing a sinking weight. The clip is pretty easy to open and stays secure when casting. The most I've tested on the sinker slide is 3oz. Although the slider is plastic, it has held up pretty good in saltwater and hasn't cut/frayed the braided line.Since I had no issues using these in saltwater, I plan to put a few in my freshwater tackle to fish for catfish. I typically use a Carolina rig when fishing for catfish but will try using these with a fish finder rig in the lake.

The Yoto Sinker Slide is easy to use and is a very fair price when considering the quantity in the package. Although the edges seem a bit sharp, I don't expect the line to be damaged.

Pros:+Good value, more than what I need for the price.+Handy storage container.+Share some with my fishing buddies.The only issue I have is with the diagram on the Amazon page to set this up the sinker slide. It calls the main line a "leader line" which makes me question if the mfr knows anything about fishing. Nonetheless, I recommend.

It's about time! I've always used sliding egg weights, but in a current those tend to roll. With these not only can you quickly take your weights on and off to change weights. But you can use other shapes that won't roll! I also leave them unclipped in hopes that they will fall off during a fight with large fish. I can't believe that no one thought of these long ago!
